NECTA PSLE 2024:

• PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination) in Tanzania is conducted by the National Examination Council Of Tanzania (NECTA) in the second week of September every year. This is a selection test, candidates get admission in standard eight. Students who get selected in this PSLE exam government awarded a certificate.

• Any pupil who has completed standard seven in any school (government and private) are eligible for registered and sit for NECTA PSLE 2024 examination.

• The examined subjects at PSLE are Hisabati (Mathematics), English Language, Sayansi (Science), Maarifa ya Jamii (Social Studies), and Kiswahili.

• The main objectives of PSLE is to evaluate learning skills and knowledge should be gained in the different subjects at the primary school level; to evaluate pupil for the understanding of the basic skills and improve their abilities in reading, writing, and arithmetic and the so that pupil can use such of these skills for solving pertinent problems in life.
